The TruthWith Love

The Middle East, one value at a time

Why we are here

In an age of too much information, we take a step back.

We look at the places in the Middle East: the laws they have on the books, and the reality of how they treat their own people and their enemies.

So when the next story breaks, you already know the kind of people involved, and you will have an easier time knowing which side to believe.

The Truth With Love

What matters most to you?

Pick the three you would never give up. We will show you how every government in the Middle East treats them, with a source on every line.

Your three

Here is where they are protected.

By law and in practice, ranked from the sources. Every country below opens up to show what happens there.

Protected Mixed Not protected No source yet
Read this before you share it. This compares governments and legal systems, not people. Nothing here says a Gazan, an Iranian or a Saudi wants to live this way. Most of the people living under these systems are their first victims.

The colors are our reading of the sources, and the words under each one are what decide it. Where a country has no source link, that is on purpose: we could not find a document we trust, so we did not write a claim. Where Israel has a real problem, it is in Israel's own card, in its own words.
